I like Books.

The Sandman, Vol. 1: Preludes and Nocturnes

The Sandman, Vol. 1: Preludes and Nocturnes - Neil Gaiman, Malcolm Jones III, Karen Berger, Sam Kieth, Todd Klein, Mike Dringenberg It's quite good, but not brilliant. Interesting characterization and world, but there is a bit of a tonal inconsistency to it. Everyone seems to think that it gets better as it goes along, so at some point in the future I want to read more of it. However, it is not quite good enough for me to do that right away.

I was not utterly carried away with most of the art. The strength is in the writing so far, although the art in the last story I liked quite a bit. Putting in superheroes was a bad idea, but I get the impression that this does not continue.

I'll continue to read it at some random point in the future.
