I won't spend much time reviewing this book, because by the fifth volume, everyone can decide if they want to read it on their own. My own personal view is that the Scott Pilgrim works are about the most important thing to come out of Canada and amongst the best of graphic novels. This volume is the weakest so far, O'Malley's tricks are starting to become repetitive and the slow advancement of the plot (such as it is) is starting to become noticeable. I suspect that the series as a whole would have been more effective if it was combined over five volumes and not six. This is a minor quibble, though, with what is very important work in the comics medium.
