Breakfast at Tiffany's and Three Stories

Breakfast at Tiffany's and Three Stories - Truman Capote A fascinating novella. Really it is a character study of Holly Golightly. The character of the writer that narrates it emerges, but the focus really is an exploration of Golightly. She is a fascinating person, who fascinates everyone around her. It's all very well done. One could look for more general themes in it, and they are certainly there, but it is the complexities of Golightly, who is utterly real and unique that make the book so fascinating.

A very fine novella.
